Psychological assessment/evaluation
Psychotherapy for Individuals and Relationships/Couples (in some cases Families) including therapy for depression, anxiety and issues related to reactions to trauma; crisis intervention; parenting support; grief; transition and stress management and conflict resolution.
Age range—Adults 15 and up
Specialty Areas:
Health Psychology—the interface between mental and physical health--where psychological issues contribute to or are in response to physical illness or disability. Focus on pain & disease management, coping with a chronic illness and associated limitations in daily activities while strengthening healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Relationship/Couples Therapy--assessing and treating relationship issues primarily from a model developed over almost 20 years of couples research by John Gottman, Ph.D. and his associates at the University of Washington.
Occupational Mental Health--evaluating and treating psychological issues that impact an individual's ability to successfully compete in the workplace. Services include employee assistance program assessment, referral, and consultation; disability assessment and management; substance abuse assessment and, in some cases, treatment; workplace violence consultation and assessment; and issues related work like career development and transition management.
